Long Bio
Mia McLaughlin is in her first year of an accelerated graduate study at ASU's Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions, where she is pursuing a degree in Public Administration. In 2025, Mia served as a Congressional Intern in Washington, D.C. and was one of a select cohort chosen to participate in the Watts College Summer of Research, which commissioned graduate students for quantitative research on health literacy and civic engagement. Mia graduated from Arizona State University as a Dean's Medalist for the School of Politics and Global Studies and has served as a research aide in the Center for Work and Democracy and the Center for the Study of Religion and Conflict whilst completing her undergraduate degree. Currently, Mia serves as an assistant policy analyst with the ASU Enterprise Policy Analysis Group.
