Fourth-year undergraduate at Arizona State University majoring in English (Linguistics) with a minor in American Indian Studies and a TESOL certificate. Tribal affiliations: Navajo, Hopi, and Ute from Shiprock, New Mexico. Continued work is to connect education, language, and service to rewrite the impact of historical trauma through knowledge and advocacy. Highly passionate about making education meaningful and accessible for Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. Volunteer with local organizations, shares personal and professional story through public speaking, and conducts research in diverse, interdisciplinary cohorts. Interests in linguistics and storytelling reflect the love for languages, cultures, and people. Through higher education, is a journey of hopefulness to inspire others to imagine new paths forward.
