Long Bio
Emma Huang is a Student Recruitment Coordinator with Arizona State University’s New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences, where she helps prospective and admitted students navigate their path to ASU and find their place within the West Valley campus community.
A proud New College alumna, Huang graduated with Bachelor of Science degrees in psychology (forensic psychology) and communication and was named a New College Dean’s Medalist. She is continuing her education at ASU through the accelerated master's program, pursuing a Master of Arts in communication studies.
Huang brings extensive student leadership and engagement experience to her role. As an undergraduate, she served in leadership roles with ASU’s Programming and Activities Board at the West Valley campus, mentored students through CommLabASU and welcomed prospective students and families as a Devil’s Advocate campus tour guide. Her experiences sparked a passion for higher education, student engagement and helping students build meaningful connections with their university community.
As a Student Recruitment Coordinator, Huang draws on her own experience as a New College student to connect prospective students with academic programs, resources and opportunities that support their goals.
