Long Bio
Marsha King is a Sustainable Energy PhD student in the School of Sustainability at ASU. She received her bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from South Carolina State University and holds a master's degree in Renewable Energy and Sustainability Systems with a concentration in Wind Energy from Pennsylvania State University.
Marsha is also a research associate in the Center for Negative Carbon Emissions at ASU with Dr. Klaus Lackner, where she studies Direct Air Capture (DAC) of carbon dioxide.
Before coming to ASU, she spent over a decade working in the Oil and Gas industry in Houston, TX, the United Kingdom and Latin America She was involved in Big Brother Big Sister of Houston, Introduce A Girl to Engineering at UT Austin, and gave annual Career Day talks to 6th graders at Eckert Elementary in Houston, TX.
