Tyler Collins is an undergraduate at Arizona State University and is expected to graduate in May 2026. Tyler has grown up with a passion for investing and economics ever since he started watching the news as a child, which led him to pursue finance at the W.P. Carey School of Business. At ASU, Tyler has been a consistent Dean's List student and active in multiple business clubs and organizations.
Over his time at Arizona State University, he has built a deep-rooted love for volunteering and community service, through facilitating events for children with learning disabilities and fundraising for his business fraternity. Much of Tyler’s time as a student has been dedicated to Alpha Kappa Psi where he was previously on the executive board as Director of Service followed by his previous position as Diversity Chair and Investment Management Chair. In Tyler’s most recent role with Alpha Kappa Psi, he dove into the service sector which created an experience that allowed him to oversee the implementation of service events throughout all the fraternal chapters in Arizona. Tyler worked on his leadership skills through volunteering and raising money from fundraisers to benefit Arizona Adoptive and Foster Parents. It is through his experience as Director of Service that Tyler fully understood the importance of giving back to the community.
In Tyler’s professional journey, he’s excelled in fast-paced environments dealing with sales and customer service in the professional sports industry. Tyler works as an Event Attendant for Sun Devil Athletics where he provides the highest level of service to Division 1 NCAA coaches, staff, and players. However, the pivotal moment in his career came from exploring the aftermath of the 2008 market crash and seeing the devastating impact it had left on individuals’ wealth. This led Tyler to pursue internships in finance for a property management company. As an intern, he was titled as an associate analyst where he assisted the Senior FP&A in creating analytical forecasts and budgets for the company. By merging Tyler’s passion for community service and Finance, he is committed to guiding others toward financial success.
Outside of working and being an academic scholar at Arizona State University, Tyler spends most of his time serving at a local church where he leads a community of men and women through impact events and mission trips around the country. If Tyler is not in Arizona, you can find him in Orange County, California surfing at the beach, playing basketball, or golfing with his hometown friends.
