Chase Kassel is Portfolio Manager at ASU's Interplanetary Initiative with responsibilities across several priority programs including the Orbital Reef partnership, ASU Space Alliance, and the Interplanetary Initiative's portfolio of seed-funded pilot projects.
His background is in politics, having served as the Director of Member Services and Coalitions for the House of Representatives Committee on Science, Space, and Technology in Washington D.C. before moving back to Arizona to work on U.S. Representative Martha McSally's Senate campaign as her Political Director and then as Legislative Liaison in Senator McSally's office. Most recently, Chase was in the private sector as the Government Relations Manager for the global cyber protection company, Acronis. Chase was part of the inaugural cohort (Space 1) for the Executive Master’s in Global Management in Space Leadership, Business, and Policy from ASU’s Thunderbird School of Global Management and is keen on helping grow the space sector here in Arizona.
