Fredy Ramón Vargas, born and raised in New York City, is a professional soccer player currently competing in Europe with La Pas De la Casa FC in Andorra’s First Division. He also aspires to represent the Honduran national team. With playing experience at clubs such as CD Leganés in Spain and Al Nasr Dubai in the UAE, along with competitive stints in England and Italy, Fredy brings a global perspective to football, understanding both the dedication required on the pitch and the opportunities available to young athletes worldwide. Fredy founded Prodigy Sports Network to give aspiring athletes a global platform to showcase their talents, connect with fans, and access pathways to scholarships and professional opportunities. The network leverages social media and innovative storytelling to break down barriers in sports and help young athletes reach their full potential.

Through the Prodigy Sports Network Foundation, Fredy works to support sports-related NGOs by amplifying their message and initiatives through the power of social media. By increasing visibility, raising awareness, and connecting organizations with a wider audience, the foundation helps these groups reach potential donors, supporters, and communities that can benefit from their programs.
Volunteering with the Cruyff Foundation
Fredy also volunteers at the Cruyff Foundation, helping to create inclusive sports programs and spaces for children, especially those with special needs or from underserved communities.
