Maziar Kazemi's interests lie in asset pricing, innovation and finance, labor and finance, and macro-finance.
He is working on research linking different kinds of intangible capital (process vs product focused) to agency frictions and compensation. In related work, Mazi is studying how intangible vs. tangible investments affect firms' risk profiles.
