Dr. Breanne Bushu is an independent consultant with expertise in education and public policy research, strategic planning, and systems design. Breanne brings deep knowledge of the education system, from early childhood through K-12 and higher education, to her work supporting organizations to do more so that they can better serve their students. Her recent research has examined the narratives education coalitions use when lobbying the Arizona state legislature. Breanne is a Teach for America alum, who began her career in education as a middle school math teacher, before focusing on policy and research at the Arizona legislature and nonprofits. She earned her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership & Policy from The University of Arizona, where she also earned a BFA in Studio Art and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. Breanne also holds an Arizona Principal Certificate and was a 2016 Flinn-Brown Fellow.
