Since joining ASU in 2015, I have been dedicated to elevating student success through strategic course quality and technology enhancements to create accessible and impactful teaching and learning experiences.
As the Assistant Director of Learning Technology at ASU's The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, I'm currently leading the The College's FRAME course accessibility plan to guide our faculty and staff in meeting federal digital accessibility requirements, ensuring all course content and each technology integration complies with federal standards and enhances teaching and learning experiences.
My role actively supports all 21 units in the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities divisions, and I collaborate closely with teams across the university, including Enterprise Technology, SAILS, and EdPlus, to implement large-scale systems and platform changes and integrate accessibility, new learning technologies, and AI tools into curriculum and pedagogy. I oversee tool approvals and integrations, digital badging, the CLAS Canvas subaccount administration including LTI decisions, and unit-embedded Instructional Designer staffing; I also lead and serve on multiple committees to advance digital initiatives in The College and across the Academic Enterprise.
Prior to this current role, I spent nearly two decades as an online Instructional Designer and learning technology leader, developing online courses and programs in partnership with faculty, designing and leading faculty trainings, and supporting Instructional Designers’ success.
