Kate (Milstead) Kastelan currently serves as an Academic Advisor Sr. with the First-Year Student Advising HUB in The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Prior to joining the HUB advising team, Kate worked for over 10 years with various professional and collegiate sports organizations in a variety of roles in community relations, engagement and special events. In every role throughout her career, Kate has overseen internship programming and professional development as well as filled a variety of coaching and teaching roles. Originally from New Jersey, Kate split up her collegiate career between Pennsylvania State University and Florida State University where she also competed as a D-1 student-athlete for both women's soccer programs. Kate holds both a B.S. in Finance and a M.S. in Sport Administration from Florida State University and has begun coursework in pursuit of a second Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
