Sanjit Selvakumar Kavitha is an undergraduate student at Arizona State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Robotics Engineering. As the University Affairs Chairman of the Undergraduate Student Government Polytechnic (USGP) at ASU’s Polytechnic campus, Sanjit advocates for student needs and fosters collaboration between university leadership and the student body. With strong leadership skills, he excels in problem-solving and motivating teams to achieve strategic goals.
Sanjit's hands-on experience spans various engineering disciplines, including his role as a Technology Consultant at LX Space Success ETP, where he provides expert technical support, hardware diagnostics, and training. His passion for robotics is demonstrated through his work as a ROS Developer at DOT World Technologies, where he enhanced robotic systems and automation. He has also gained substantial experience in production and design through his roles at GR Engineering and Surya Castings in India.
With a focus on sustainability, Sanjit has led award-winning projects such as renewable energy generation systems and conservation methods for foundries. His international achievements include a 2nd place finish at the International Make-X Courageous Traveler competition in China and a national championship in India. Outside of academics and professional pursuits, he volunteers at the House of Refuge and mentors young students in robotics, emphasizing creativity and practical problem-solving.
Sanjit combines technical expertise with a deep commitment to community service, making him a well-rounded leader both on and off campus.
