Angelica Pasqualini, Ph.D., is an Assistant Research Scientist at Arizona State University, where she studies Arctic Ocean circulation and water mass transformation using transient tracers and geochemical data. Her research focuses on the ventilation of deep and halocline waters in the Amerasian Basin, drawing on multi-decadal tracer records and recent field campaigns. She earned her doctorate in Earth and Environmental Engineering from Columbia University and has conducted oceanographic fieldwork in the Arctic and North Atlantic. In addition to her scientific work, she supports science communication initiatives and maintains a multilingual outreach website for a rural hospital in Tanzania.
