Long Bio
Feng Yan is an associate professor in the School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. As a faculty member at the University of Alabama, he was recognized with the Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) program award from the National Science Foundation in 2020. He has extensive experience in new materials design, thin-film solar cells, and nanoscale characterization of ferroelectric/multiferroics/photovoltaics using scanning probe microscopy.
