Long Bio
Wendy Garcia is a PhD student in Applied Mathematics at Arizona State University. She graduated with honors from New Mexico State University in 2021, earning a B.S. in Applied Mathematics. In Spring 2023, she started her doctoral studies and soon after participated in the Enhancing Diversity in Graduate Education (EDGE) summer program at Brown University, where she attended research colloquia and took classes to strengthen her academic foundation. Wendy has completed her comprehensive exams in Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations and Deep Neural Networks.
Wendy has served as a TA for a diverse range of courses. She tutored and graded students in MATLAB techniques for Differential Equations and Linear Algebra. She served as the TA for the Graduate Qualifying course Applied Linear Algebra.
