Cameron Bautista is a second-year undergraduate student interested in mathematics and justice studies. His study focuses on the broad field of mathematics with interests in advanced calculus, fluid dynamic modeling through vector calculus, number theory, and differential equations. In addition to his love for mathematics, Cameron is passionate about social justice, human rights, and the political climate in Arizona. Having worked with numerous political nonprofits (i.e. Living United for Change in Arizona), Cameron feels strongly about issues such as LGBTQIA+ rights, bodily autonomy, and equitable access to infrastructure, education, voting facilities, and healthcare. Cameron hopes to work in the public policy sector post-graduation, either in elected office or consulting.
Cameron is a Flinn Scholar and a National Merit Scholar and has earned multiple academic and extracurricular awards. He has been involved in political activism, Asian culture education and awareness, and numerous community service organizations. Cameron prides himself on his leadership ability and his commitment to helping those around him.
Currently, Cameron serves as the campaign manager for Zeyna Pruzhanovsky, a candidate for Chandler Unified School District. More information about the campaign can be found at zeynaforchandler.com.
