Dr. Alexandra Miller is an instructional design and learning innovation professional with expertise in online education, digital pedagogy, and educator professional development. She currently serves as Assistant Director at Arizona State University’s Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation, where she leads learning design strategy, multimedia development, and systems innovation for continuing and professional education programs.
With a background spanning higher education, educational technology, and research, Alex has extensive experience designing scalable online learning experiences, leading instructional design teams, and developing processes for digital learning initiatives. Her research focuses on online learning communities, social presence, and gender performativity in higher education environments.
Prior to her work in education, Alex conducted archaeological research in the United States and Europe, contributing to multiple publications and international conference presentations. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University, along with graduate degrees in Educational Technology and Anthropology.
