Mariam Serghat

Mariam Serghat is an AI Innovation Intern with the AI Acceleration Team at Enterprise Technology, Arizona State University, where she supports UX research and product management initiatives to explore how emerging AI technologies can improve the student experience and drive positive change across the community.

With a background in computer science, Mariam brings a strong foundation in technical problem-solving combined with a human-centered mindset. Her work focuses on understanding user needs, designing accessible solutions, and collaborating across disciplines to ensure that AI products are ethical, impactful, and responsive to real-world challenges.

Beyond her internship, Mariam serves as President of Ocean Conservation Club at ASU, where she leads efforts to promote sustainability and environmental conservation. She is passionate about the intersection of technology and conservation and is especially interested in how AI can be leveraged to advance sustainability initiatives and empower communities.
