I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the young age of 24 years old. Once settled in Nashville, I attended Southeastern Paralegal Institute to obtain my paralegal certification. In September 2001, I started attending Aquinas College in Nashville to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. I then applied for and was granted admission to Nashville School of Law. However, law school was not for me and I withdrew from the program. I have found over time that I enjoy the supporting role of Paralegal and being able to research and assist my attorneys in any capacity that they need me, aside from the unauthorized practice of law. I feel that the MLS degree from ASU's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law will allow me to further my knowledge of the law and with my emphasis in Conflict Resolution, I can become a Rule 31 Mediator in the state of Tennessee. I currently work for a Family Law firm and feel that this degree will allow me to assist my attorneys in an even larger capacity than I currently do.
