Scott Wholley is the Multimedia Specialist for the Cronkite School and Arizona PBS. From Boston, MA, Scott moved out to Phoenix in 2019 and enjoys not having to worry about shoveling snow.
In addition to being Cronkite's video and photo specialist, Scott also trains and supervises student workers for various photo assignments. Scott was a news videographer for over 20 years, spending the last three at ABC 15 here in Phoenix. He has a passion for video, writing, and communication and is always happy to answer questions about the journalism field.
Scott also worked at NBC Boston/NECN for four years as the TV Diner Lead videographer, shooting and editing a weekly, hour-long food and entertainment program while working closely with the host and producers to put the highest quality product on the air. Scott won an Emmy in 2007 for "Editing within 24 hours" for a story he engineered, shot and edited. He has been nominated for six personal Emmys and is drone certified. Scott graduated with a BS in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College and his office is located in 404. His email is [email protected].
