College of Global Futures
Long Bio
My interest in science, technology, and public affairs began in my formative years growing up near the world headquarters of Rotary International, the world's first and largest humanitarian service organization with a global network of 1.2 million members in more than 170 countries. Rotary’s mission to eradicate polio instilled in me a deep appreciation for science, technology, and innovation — global collaboration for health of people and planet, a mission of the College of Global Futures here at ASU.
Caleb is an honors undergraduate studying the science of innovation in the College of Global Futures, former researcher at Next Lab, LightWorks, and Luminosity Lab. Caleb has conducted sustainable development research across 3 continents beyond US borders with the US Embassy in Brazil, Fortune 100 Sysco in UK, and Japanese based impact investing firm GLIN with students at universities around the world. As a Youth Delegate to YOUNGO, the youth constituency to the UNFCCC, Caleb contributed to the United States (US) National Youth Statement (NYS) on Climate that was later presented to US negotiators at COP29 in Azerbaijan. He is Global Futures Champion Scholar and Youth Fellow of the Villars Institute in the Swiss Alps, dedicated to preserving our life supporting systems within Planetary Boundaries. Furthermore, he serves as student representative to the School of Complex Adaptive Systems, member of the MIT System Dynamics Society, and on the advisory board for the partnered ASU-SRP and Lincoln Center for Applied Ethics and Chautauqua Institution boards.
