Having been a co-owner of Artistic Florals Inc. for over 35 years ago, I have recently shifted my path to becoming a full-time lecturer in the Payne School of Hospitality at SDSU. As a co-owner of Artistic Florals in San Diego since 1985, our business focused on social and corporate events, weddings, and full Holiday decor. I have taken my years of experience and look to bridge the gap from the professional world to the classroom setting. Lecturing in classes from Introduction to Hospitality, Qualitative and Quantitative Literacy in Hospitality to Leadership Development, I find my ability to share stories through in my class lessons and present a wonderful 3- dimensional look at our HTM and RTM worlds. I am also deeply involved in community efforts being a Past President of the San Diego Chapter of NACE (National Association of Catering and Events), and past National NACE Chapter Leader Chair, and a current Education Chair for the CPCE certification in NACE. Having served on hospitality organization boards for over 20 years giving and sharing leadership in the hospitality and tourism community fulfills my circle of giving.
