Long Bio

Marcus Weeden is a professional bassist with 30 years professional experience in the music business, bass performance, and a deep knowledge of local and regional disciplinary ecosystems.

In addition to expertise in bass performance and popular music instruction, Marcus is a multi-disciplinary professional with songwriting, producing, recording, and marketing experience. His teaching philosophy is to approach instruction in a compassionate, empathetic, and motivating way that inspires and empowers students of all ages and backgrounds to become musical leaders and successful, creative musicians.

Fluent in genres ranging from: Latin, rock, hip hop, jazz, blues, fusion, funk, R&B, gospel, country, pop, reggae, Americana
