Long Bio
Clarissa joined ASU in January 2023 as the HR Specialist Senior for the Outreach department. A bilingual HR professional, Clarissa brings extensive experience from the non-profit sector, where she has honed her skills in various administrative roles, including finance as an assistant in processing and payroll.
Her career is marked by significant involvement in acquisition and merger teams, as well as strategic initiatives aimed at revamping employee relations. Clarissa has also played a crucial role in conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations in California, Arizona, and Texas within the non-profit sector.
She firmly believes that "strong employee relations are the cornerstone of a thriving organization, fostering a positive work environment where both individuals and teams can excel."
In her free time, Clarissa enjoys diving into a good book, exploring the great outdoors on hikes, and traveling to new and exciting destinations.
