Jason Marmon

Jason J. Marmon is an accomplished professional with a diverse and multi-disciplinary background. Currently pursuing concurrent master's degrees in Innovation and Venture Development and Applied Sustainability Solutions, Jason's academic journey is a testament to his dedication to innovation and sustainability.

Jason's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Administration & Policy with a minor in Sustainability from Northern Arizona University, along with a Graduate Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship from the University of North Dakota. 

Jason's career began to take shape in 2014 when he started organizing events with an impressive artist roster; including Travis Tritt (2x), Charlie Daniels Band, CREED, Eve 6, Sawyer Brown, Chris Cagle, Tanya Tucker, Little Texas, and Blackhawk. These events, focused on community engagement, helped establish Jason as a capable organizer and leader in the event management space.

His role as a Program Advisor and Business Development Leader has seen him contribute significantly to various sectors. Jason's skills range from sustainability initiatives, program administration, strategic relationship marketing, UI/UX, to business development. He has a knack for fundraising and foundation growth, which has helped him support and grow various initiatives.

At Us Energy, Jason founded the organization in 2018, where he has developed and implemented sustainable system designs supporting community development initiatives. His efforts are focused on accelerating climate action goals. He has also organized fundraising and program development events in support of key programs, building key partnerships and collaborations to expand the support of Us Energy's initiatives.

A notable highlight of Jason's career is the creation of the Carbon Summit, an MVP scaling at Arizona State University. This event is a significant contribution to the field of environmental sustainability, focusing on carbon resolutions and sustainable best-practices. It showcases his ability to combine his passion for sustainability with his skills in event organization and program development.

In addition to his professional achievements, Jason has been actively involved in volunteer work and has held memberships and board positions in various organizations. His participation in events like the Boise ENTR Week and his role as a founder/director of Us Energy's Carbon Summit highlight his commitment to community service and environmental advocacy.
