Shaweta Vasudeva

Professor Shaweta "Shay" Vasudeva has an eclectic professional background and uses it to teach students in a way that is applicable to their life, career, and/or major.  She always strives to pair education with applied methods. She has successfully taught courses at a number of colleges since 2014 in online, in-person, and hybrid formats in the following areas: Psychology, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Eastern & Western Medicine, Anatomy & Physiology, Physical Education (T'ai Chi & Karate), Nutrition, Business, and Ethics across disciplines.  

Each of these areas required Statistics and using its tools to develop research. She is excited to teach Statistics and in a relatable way.

Shay also has a business called ShayTheCoach and clinical experience using her credentials to work with clients, helping them become the best version of themselves. Shay runs ShayTheCoachWriting where she simplifies heady topics through the written and spoken word.  She writes blogs, stock articles, and develops curriculum. She speaks at conferences and public events as a sought after Subject Matter Expert on Health & Wellness, Motivation, and Lifestyle Medicine.

When she is not working, she enjoys the company of her cat, listening to drums, and being in nature!
