Jason Harvey

Jason Harvey is the Senior Program Manager, Resource Operations at the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute. Jason has nearly 10 years of experience in information resources management, makerspace programming, and librarianship. Prior to this position at ASU, Jason was employed as a STEM Research Initiatives Outreach Librarian at the River Campus Libraries, the University of Rochester (NY), where he initiated and managed the TinkerSpace program, a mobile makerspace program for the River Campus Libraries. Along with 2 other STEM Outreach Librarians, Jason created, instructed and managed TinkerSpace sessions for the University of Rochester community including Raspberry Pi, Arduino, electronic soldering, Python, Unity Game Engine, HTML/CSS, and other hands-on, experiential learning and skillbuilding tools. Prior to this, Jason was an IT Workstation Network Support team member at the University Libraries and a Graduate Assistant in the School of Information Sciences at the Grainger Engineering Library at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In this role, Jason established and managed a 3D printing lab in the IDEA lab at Grainger Engineering Library.
