Alexandria Katis is an Instructional Designer with EdPlus Digital Learning at ASU. She collaborates with faculty at the Herberger Institute for Design & the Arts and the Fulton School of Engineering to design learner-centered online courses. Prior to joining ASU, Alex worked as an Instructional Designer for UCATT at the University of Arizona. Previously, Alex spent a decade writing, producing and editing television documentaries in Washington, DC; taught photography, animation and visual storytelling - both in the classroom and online - for American University's School of Communication; was awarded a Fulbright Grant in Film Studies to undertake an independent research project at FAMU in Czech Republic; worked with Czech universities and non-profits in Prague, Zlín, and Horažďovice to support international students and study programs.
