Veronica Arzamendi is an undergraduate History student at Arizona State University with a focused interest in civic literacy, media literacy, and the intersections of power, democracy, and public education. Alongside her academic studies, she brings over eight years of professional experience in analytical operations, cross-functional communication, and problem-solving through her work at Apple Retail.
She plans to pursue a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) with the long-term goal of teaching at the community college level and contributing to accessible, equity-centered public education. Her academic interests center on helping learners develop the skills needed to critically evaluate information, understand media ecosystems, and participate thoughtfully in civic life.
Veronica is particularly drawn to student-facing roles that support learners in navigating institutional structures, building confidence, and developing critical thinking skills within inclusive and dignity-centered learning environments.
