Hale Erkan is an Assistant Professor in the Supply Chain Management Department at the W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. Her research interests include urban mobility, public policy analysis, and empirical operations management. Hale Erkan's Ph.D. is in Operations Management from the University of Texas at Austin. She additionally holds a Master's in Economics from UT Austin and a B.S. and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University in Turkey. Her current work focuses on analyzing equitable access and effectiveness of emerging mobility solutions. She aims to inform smart transportation infrastructure decisions through data-driven optimization and quantitative modeling.
