Kylie Frontczak is an educational researcher, doctoral student, and graduate teaching assistant at Arizona State University (ASU). Born and raised in Arizona, she completed two Bachelor’s degrees from ASU in English and Secondary Education (English) before completing her Master’s in Education (Literacy Education), where she graduated with honors. Before entering the English Education doctoral program at ASU, she worked as a high school ELA teacher in the suburban Phoenix area and currently teaches ENG 101/102 at ASU. Her previous research has focused on the use of multimodal texts and writing projects in secondary ELA classrooms as a way of increasing students' reading comprehension and engagement, and her current research interests focus on the use of generative AI in secondary and post-secondary writing instruction and teacher digital literacy and pedagogies.
