Abdullah Alasiri

Abdullah Alasiri is a junior pursuing a B.S.E. in Industrial Engineering at Arizona State University, alongside a Certificate in Applied Business Data Analytics and a Minor in Technological Entrepreneurship and Management. He currently serves as a Pod Monitor for the Virtual Skills Lab within ASU Enterprise Technology's Learning Experience Health Technology Operations team, supporting the John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering by operating, configuring, and troubleshooting XR/VR hardware and immersive computing platforms used in technology-driven medical education. Abdullah's background combines industrial engineering fundamentals in process improvement and Lean Six Sigma with hands-on experience in emerging learning technologies, giving him a distinctive perspective at the intersection of operations and healthcare-focused XR/immersive education. He previously served as a Fulton Ambassador for the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, representing the college at recruitment and outreach events. He maintains a 3.74 GPA and has been named to the Dean's List each semester since Fall 2023.
