Cassaundra Cosme

Dr. Cassaundra Cosme earned her doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. As Board Certified Behavior Analyst and former special education teacher, Dr. Cosme has a wide range of experience working with students with autism, emotional behavioral disorders, and other disabilities across a variety of settings. Dr. Cosme currently works in the public-school setting as a Program Specialist-BCBA. In this role, Dr. Cosme is responsible for supporting schools, providing training, and working directly with staff to address issues related to challenging behavior, classroom management, and social skill deficits to promote positive outcomes for students. Dr. Cosme’s research centers on trauma-informed practices, classroom management systems for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities, and staff training. Her interests include self-management, social skills training, effective supervision practices, evidence-based classroom management practices, and teacher efficacy.
