James Antompietri Narváez is a Senior Program Manager leading the DreamBuilder online training program across Latin America, where he oversees cross-functional teams based in Chile and Peru. In this role, he drives the design and delivery of scalable educational initiatives that empower entrepreneurs and expand access to business training throughout the region.
Prior to joining Thunderbird’s Global Impact Office, James spent eight years in the financial services industry, specializing in the management of retirement plans for private sector organizations. His experience in financial planning and client services informs his strategic approach to program management and impact-driven work.
At Thunderbird, James contributes to advancing global development efforts by leveraging the institution’s expertise in international business to create learning opportunities for non-traditional students. The office’s initiatives focus on reducing poverty, fostering economic inclusion, and strengthening communities, particularly by equipping women in underserved areas with skills in business, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
James holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master of Arts in International Affairs and Leadership from Arizona State University.
