Long Bio

Álvaro Hofflinger is an assistant professor in the School of Public Affairs. He holds a PhD in public policy from the University of Texas at Austin. Hofflinger is affiliated with the Department of Social Sciences at the Universidad de la Frontera (Chile) and in 2023-2024 was a visiting scholar at the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard University.
