Jazmin Hernandez Lavezzo fosters statewide and national initiatives that integrate academic development with whole-child principles, with a particular emphasis on literacy and the well-being of the adults who serve young people. Lavezzo joined the organization in 2021. Her professional experience spans early childhood through middle school instruction, adult ESL education, and leadership roles including elementary school administrator, district-level leader, instructional coach, and lead teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies/Political Science with minors in Spanish and Nonprofit Management from Pepperdine University, and a Master of Arts in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University. She is an alumna of Teach for America and New Leaders for New Schools.
