Long Bio
Haley Achtzehn is an undergraduate Digital Audiences and Barrett Honors student focused on the intersection of human behavior, politics, and media in a rapidly expanding digital era.
She is currently a Research Assistant with the ASU Center for Media and Communities founded by Dr. Chelsea Reynolds. Her current projects focus on de-sensationalizing coverage of transgender topics in digital media and researching how children under 18 years old develop their understanding of politics and social issues within their chosen online communities and fandom spaces.
