Long Bio
Subhankar Mandal is an assistant professor in the School of Applied Sciences and Arts in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts. His program focuses on the devolvement of sustainable horticultural practices. He received the Root and Bulb Vegetable Crop Germplasm Committees’ award (U. S. Department of Agriculture) and a Junior Research Fellowship (India). He was an American Society for Horticultural Science Outstanding Graduate Student and has contributed significantly to Fusarium disease resistance breeding in onions.
