Nadia Viswanath is the Chief Operating Officer for Learning Enterprise at Arizona State University. Nadia’s team builds the systems and processes to support Learning Enterprise as it scales to serve millions of learners, including: Finance (Budget & Reporting), Analytics & Impact (including Strategic Planning), Business Operations, Legal, and People & Culture.
Prior to joining ASU, Nadia worked at the online learning company, Coursera, where she led go-to-market Strategy & Operations for Coursera's global Government sector. In this role, Nadia led the business performance cadence, directed investments for growth across geos, and informed new partnership models and product development to support public-funded learning programs across the world.
Before this, Nadia served higher education clients in McKinsey & Company’s Education practice. She worked on strategic planning and future of work topics for universities and workforce training organizations. While at McKinsey, Nadia spent a year with Generation.org, a global job training nonprofit organization, where she supported program design improvements across Generation’s 13 countries.
Education is a deeply personal mission for Nadia, who is the daughter of immigrants who benefitted from funding for graduate programs at U.S. public universities. Nadia is energized by the role of education & job training in helping people find and land good jobs.
