New Interdis Arts & Sciences
Hi! I’m an undergraduate student at ASU pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience through the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences. I am also a student in Barrett, The Honors College. My academic interests center around the relationship between the brain, cognition, behavior, and psychological functioning, with particular interests in neuropsychology, cognitive neuroscience, memory, aging, and neurological disorders.
Prior to transferring to ASU, I completed my Associate in Arts with an emphasis in Psychology through the Mesa Community College. At ASU, I am continuing to build a strong foundation in psychology and neuroscience through coursework in areas such as developmental psychology, personality, cognitive psychology, physiological psychology, cognitive neuroscience, learning, perception, psychopharmacology, and research methodology.
Research is an important part of my long-term academic and professional goals. I am particularly interested in gaining undergraduate research experience involving cognition, memory, brain-behavior relationships, neurological and neurodegenerative conditions, and other areas relevant to clinical neuropsychology. As a Barrett student, I also look forward to completing an undergraduate honors thesis and using that experience to further develop my skills in scientific inquiry, research methodology, academic writing, and data analysis.
After graduating with my bachelors degree, I plan to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology with the long-term goal of specializing in clinical neuropsychology. I hope to build a career that combines clinical practice and research, particularly within medical or academic healthcare settings. I am especially interested in understanding how neurological conditions affect cognition and behavior and how neuropsychological assessment can contribute to diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care.

Observational Research Study — Applied Behavior Analysis & Manding Behavior
Conducted an observational research study examining the relationship between weekly ABA therapy hours and manding behavior among children ages 2–8 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The project involved systematic behavioral observation and data collection to explore whether differences in therapy exposure were associated with manding behavior.
