Susan Candelaria is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Student Teacher Supervisor at Arizona State University in the division of teacher preparation at Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. Susan has served in various roles. Her work focuses on preparing aspiring elementary education teachers for the workforce.
Susan earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Arizona State University. She has delivered multiple professional workshops at the district, state, and national levels. Her research interests include brain research, differentiation, gifted education, challenging students with gifts and talents in a general classroom setting, problem/project-based learning, social and emotional learning, and the whole child.
