Natalie Zermeno

Natalie Zermeno is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education (EdD) in Leadership and Innovation at Arizona State University’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. Her research interests center on graduate student resilience and success, with a particular emphasis on understanding and addressing gaps to promote inclusivity, a sense of belonging, and equitable outcomes for students.

Natalie is also a Graduate Assistant with the Inclusive Excellence Office, where she supports initiatives focused on peer mentorship, student advocacy, and community-building. Through her work, she is committed to amplifying student voices, fostering meaningful connections, and helping create an environment where students feel supported, valued, and empowered to thrive.

With a professional background spanning graduate program recruitment, student support, mentorship programming, event management, and student engagement, Natalie brings a systems-thinking approach to her work. She is passionate about creating inclusive student experiences and developing initiatives that strengthen connection, belonging, and student success both academically and professionally.
