Edward Chu is a senior executive with more than 30 years of leadership at the intersection of environmental policy, infrastructure investment and climate finance.
He spent the majority of his career at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where he held multiple senior leadership roles, including deputy regional administrator in the Midwest. Over his tenure, he led large, multidisciplinary teams and managed major federal programs supporting environmental protection, water infrastructure and community development initiatives.
Chu has also served in advisory and policy roles across government and academia, including work with the White House Council on Environmental Quality and affiliations with leading universities. His experience includes advancing innovative financing strategies to mobilize public and private capital for clean energy, sustainability and environmental remediation projects.
In addition to his federal service, he contributes to climate and sustainability initiatives through board and advisory roles, including supporting green bank efforts to accelerate clean energy deployment and equitable climate outcomes.
