Lisa Estrada is a seasoned professional with over 16 years of experience in local government, specializing in policy development and sustainability initiatives. Her career trajectory has been marked by impactful roles focused on creating positive change in communities.

Currently serving as a Self Generation Program Advisor at Southern California Edison, Lisa plays a pivotal role in guiding initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, and electric vehicle proliferation. Her expertise and commitment to sustainability have been honed through prior roles, including serving as the Stakeholder Engagement Manager for Riverside County Transportation Commission and the Community and Sustainability Programs Manager for the City of Anaheim’s Public Utilities Department.

During her time as the City of Peoria’s sustainability manager, Lisa led initiatives that reshaped the city's sustainability landscape, driving resource efficiencies and fostering positive economic, environmental, and societal impacts.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Lisa is described as "passionate" and "driven." She actively mentors aspiring sustainability professionals and shares her insights through teaching opportunities, aiming to inspire the next generation of leaders in the field.

Lisa’s academic background includes a BA in Communications from Arizona State University, an MBA in Sustainable Business from Marylhurst University in Portland, OR, and an Executive Masters of Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University. Additionally, she holds a LEED Green Associate credential, showcasing her dedication to sustainable practices.

Her contributions to the field have been recognized with the City Manager's Excellence Awards for Leadership in Environmental Sustainability in both 2012 and 2013 and ASU President's Award for her contributions to the Sustainability Analyst Certificate Program with the Grow-with-Google Coursera initiative. Lisa's unwavering dedication and expertise continue to shape sustainable initiatives, making a lasting impact in her field.
