Brian England received a bachelor's degree at Arizona State University in aerospace engineering with minors in philosophy and international business. During his undergraduate education he was a member of the Barrett Honors College in which his research was in numerical modeling of the plasma physics associated with Magneto Plasma Dynamics thrusters. Having completed his bachelor's, he decided to stay at ASU and pursue a master's degree in aerospace engineering. His research focus at the time was numerical solutions to PDE's with a specific emphasis on the Navier Stokes equations.
Knowing that it was his primary desire to teach, while finishing up his master's he also taught at ITT to get whatever experience he could. at a collegiate level. Upon completion of his master's in 2011, he immediately starting teaching engineering, math, and physics classes at the local community colleges and continued through 2018. The schools of interest were Paradise Valley Community College, Chandler Gilbert Community College, Estrella Mountain Community College and South Mountain Community College.
In 2014, he decided to go back to school to obtain his doctorate. He was admitted into the applied mathematics program and given the opportunity to teach an adjunct calculus course his first semester. At the end of that semester, he was hired on full time and has been teaching full time at ASU ever since.
