Rachel has worked in medical education since 2021. She obtained her masters degree in Globalization and International Education Policy from the University of Kansas and is currently pursuing a PhD from Arizona State University in Education Policy and Evaluation. Rachel first developed their passion for health professions education processes while at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, working first as a Medical Humanities Course Coordinator and later as the school's Assessment and Accreditation Coordinator. In their current role at the John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering, Rachel primarily focuses on policy, strategic planning, and accreditation processes.
