Long Bio
Anitah Murungi is a Master’s in Global Management student at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, concentrating in global business. She is a project manager and marketing strategist with over four years of work experience leading digital campaigns, product initiatives, and managing projects in entrepreneurial and corporate settings, as well as cross-functional projects across Africa and the U.S. She is a catalyst for innovation and creativity, especially when these spark meaningful social impact. Her passion for innovation and entrepreneurship was shaped through her work with start-ups, where she has seen firsthand how ideas grow into tangible products and services.
Innovation has always been her passion, and recently, she has focused her niche on AI applications, mastering techniques to leverage this technology effectively in developing countries. She’s currently an Innovation Intern in ASU Enterprise Technology’s AI Acceleration team, where she works as a project and product manager, contributing to initiatives that leverage artificial intelligence to scale ideas and improve efficiency for faculty, staff and students while driving AI solutions that enhance teaching, learning, research and digital transformation. As a planner at heart, she’s drawn to deliverables that combine strategic planning, technology adoption with a clear social purpose.
