As an Executive Administrative Support Specialist (EASS) in the School of Applied Sciences and Arts (SASA) for the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts (CISA), I provide administrative support to the Director of the School of Applied Sciences and Arts (SASA). I oversee a broad range of complex administrative functions with efficiency, professionalism, and care. My responsibilities include managing academic personnel actions and faculty relations—such as promotion and tenure, probationary, multi-year, and annual reviews—as well as conducting faculty searches. Often serving as a liaison between schools, leadership, faculty, and external departments—I approach every interaction with tact, discretion, and keen judgment.
With over 20 years in higher education and a strong background in administration, I bring deep knowledge of academic environments and the value of collaboration in achieving excellence. Detail-oriented and organized, I create efficient workflows and approach challenges strategically. My psychology and human services background help me navigate complex dynamics with empathy and thoughtfulness, fostering strong relationships across the university. Passionate about helping others, I believe in the transformative power of higher education to open doors and change lives.
