Long Bio
Lilian Daphine Lunyolo is an international development cooperation expert specializing in global climate and water governance. She has worked globally with the UN Climate Change (UNFCCC) Secretariat, the United Nations University – Institute for Environment and Human Security, and UNICEF, and nationally with the German and Austrian Development Cooperation in Uganda and the World Food Programme in Timor-Leste.
A recipient of awards from the Tertiary Education Scholarship Trust (TEST) for Uganda, DAAD (German Education Exchange), and the Carlo Schmid Programme, she works to bridge global frameworks with local realities.
At Arizona State University, her PhD research focuses on strengthening science-policy coherence to support effective national implementation of global climate and water governance.
