Lexus Wright-Ball is a Master of Social Work graduate student at Arizona State University with a concentration in community-based practice. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northeastern Illinois University, where she built a strong foundation in human behavior and development. Lexus previously served as a Project Coordinator at ASU’s Office of Sex Trafficking Intervention Research (STIR), where she oversaw the FIRE Young Adult Mentoring Program, a countywide mentoring initiative for unsheltered and at-risk young adults. She serves as a Community Advocate Mentor, supporting graduate peers in academic resilience, leadership, and professional development.
Her research interests include trafficking prevention, transitional services, and youth development, with an emphasis on diverse populations and systemic oppression. Drawing on her psychology background and social work training, she is particularly interested in trauma recovery and rehabilitation for trafficking survivors, aiming to advance survivor-centered interventions that promote resilience and healing.
